Compare Merchant Programs with the Best Value Calculator
The Best Value Calculator will enable you to compare the Charge America Service with any other merchant account program. To see how much you can save, please follow these instructions:
- Fill out all the information that applies to you.
- YOUR DATA: For example, if the average credit card payment you expect to take is 50 dollars, type 50 in the first box. If you expect that you will have 20 credit card transactions per month, type 20 in the second box. If you don't have to do batching, ignore the third box.
- OTHER MERCHANT PROGRAM: To get an accurate comparison, be sure to include all fees that apply to the other merchant program.
- EQUIPMENT: If you are paying a one-time fee to acquire the equipment (for instance, $495) write that number in the 'Equipment Fee' box. If you are paying a monthly fee because you are leasing the equipment, multiply the monthly fee by 12 and type the result in the 'Equipment Fee' box. Example: Let's assume that your monthly leasing fee is $50. In this case, you would type 600 in the 'Equipment Fee' box ($50 x 12 months = $600 per year). Also, don't forget to add the monthly cost of a dedicated phone line or wireless access fee.
- COMPUTE: To compare, press compute. As you can see, although it may appear that our 3.95% discount rate is high, you still get a better deal because we charge no monthly fees of any kind.
